Backlit Praying Mantis

My wife and I were on a walk the other day when I spotted this praying mantis. I don’t think it really appreciated having its photo taken, but since it was a praying mantis it could only show disdain by looking at me crossly. Apparently I’m turning into an insect and arachnid photographer, which is probably beginning to worry everyone else I know.
