Field of Sunflowers
September 03, 2008
Update: I have enabled a Lightbox style display for this image, just click it to see a larger version
I had taken some photos of really large sunflowers lately that I was going to post as the photo of the week. By large I mean 8 feet tall, not the 4 feet tall ones that I am used to seeing. However, I was soon glad that I did not post them because a nearby field of giant sunflowers started to bloom. And of course a field of sunflowers trumps a single sunflower almost any day of the week.

Ben: You make a good point. The very horizontal dimensions of this image does make it a bit (or very) small. I just added a Lightbox to the image so that it’s easier to see. I’ll be taking this all into consideration when I finally update the design on this site. Thanks for pointing it out.

Is there a larger version of this?
Looks like a nice shot though!
